There was a minor upset when GermanMLP Academics Heidelberg (1-2) was defeated at home by Polish Legionisci (1-2) 74-67 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was American guard Jayvon Graves (191-1998, college: Buffalo) who scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Latvian Ojars Silins (201-1993) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Marcus Weathers (199-1997, college: SMU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import guard Michael Weathers (190-1997, college: SMU) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
